How to become Red Lipstick Girl...

Red lipsticks are now in trend once again. The year has been dedicated to those scintillating red lips, which have a life of their own. It spells power, seduction, confidence, allure and is famously hard to get right. with too much choice comes indecision and considering that there are so many variations of the shade of red, it's often really hard to find the perfect one that matches our skin tone .But find the right shade of red lipstick and you will want to wear it again and again. there’s fine line between bold and bizarre. Here are some important tips to turn your tryst with red lipstick into a mystifying experience.

1.       LIP SHAPE -  the first thing to consider is the shape your lips. If you’re small lips, avoid the use of dark red lipstick, because it will make your lips look smaller and thinner.

2.      SKIN COLOR- darker shades for darker tones and lighter tone for fairer skin. Choose the lipsticks that is bit darker than your skin tone.

3.       HAIRSTYLE- red lips look great when paired with simple hairstyle.

4.       MAKEUP-  muted or preferable nude like winged eyeliner but eye shadow is big no-no.

There are a few tricks to apply it perfectly :
·          To achieve a flawless application, at the end of the application use a little bit of foundation on a flat makeup brush around the area to clean it off (alternatively use your ring finger)

·          Use a lip liner to define the line of your lips and then fill with the lipstick;

·          It is very common to get lipstick on your teeth, one trick to prevent this is to press both lips against a clean tissue to take to the excess.

TIP-  dab some lipstick on your inner lips and smear it with brush or fingers and wear it this way for few weeks. Once you get used to it apply it properly without any hesitation.

Red is vital as little black dress in your wardrobe, but how you look in it depends on your attitude and the elan with which you carry this style statement .
I hope i helped in solving the confusion of few girls out there who were shying away thinking red was not for them. Let’s admit that wearing red lipstick gives us a bit of a confidence boost!
